Roadside Mechanics is a marketplace that connects vehicle owners ("Customers") with independent mobile mechanics ("Mechanics"). We are not the provider of the repair work; the Mechanic is.
You must be 18+ to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account secure.
Requesting a Mechanic requires payment of a non-refundable dispatch fee (plus taxes and a 3.5% processing fee), except where required by law or as described in Section 4. The dispatch fee covers travel and diagnosis; repair labor and parts are quoted separately by the Mechanic.
If you cancel a request before a Mechanic has begun travel, the dispatch fee is automatically refunded. Once a Mechanic is en route or on-site, the fee is non-refundable.
Mechanics are independent contractors, not employees. Customers contract directly with the Mechanic for any repair work performed.
Customers may leave honest reviews after a completed job. We may remove reviews that violate our content policies.
No fraud, harassment, abusive conduct, misrepresentation of vehicle condition, or attempts to circumvent the platform's payment system.
Service is only available in active markets. Customers outside these markets may join a waitlist; account creation does not entitle you to service.
The platform is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roadside Mechanics is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the dispatch fees you paid in the prior 12 months.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
